The Full Story
Meet Ashley
A JACKSONVILLE GIRL
Always drawn to style.
Style has always been personal.
I’m Ashley Hordge, founder of AH by Ashley Hordge and a Jacksonville, Florida native. My love for fashion started long before I imagined creating a brand of my own. As a child, I filled dozens of notebooks with clothing designs, sketching pieces and dreaming up collections simply because I loved it.
Fashion was also something I learned to appreciate outside of the sketchbook. I grew up thrifting with the women in my mother’s family, and they taught me early that great style had very little to do with how much something cost. There was always something special about finding a beautiful piece at an incredible price and making it your own.

A DIFFERENT PATH
Plans changed.
The love didn't.
I eventually enrolled at Clark Atlanta University as a Fashion Design major, ready to turn that childhood love into a career. When my father became ill, my plans changed. I returned home to Jacksonville to help care for him and later completed my degree in Communications.
But I never lost my love for fashion.
Years later, AH by Ashley Hordge is
my way of returning to it.
THE WHY
Beautiful style
should be attainable.
I created AH around something I’ve believed since those early thrift-store trips: beautiful style should be attainable. I want to offer the pieces that make a wardrobe work—the handbag you carry constantly, the shoes that pull everything together, jewelry that finishes a look, and clothing you reach for again and again.
Pieces that feel special. Pieces you’ll actually wear. Staples that won't break the bank.

MORE THAN FASHION
A mother.
An advocate.
A purpose beyond fashion.
Outside of AH, my most important role is being a mother of two. I’m also a strong advocate for sickle cell disease awareness, a cause especially close to my heart because my youngest daughter lives with the disease.
In many ways, AH brings together different parts of my story: the little girl filling notebooks with designs, the women who taught me how to find beauty on a budget, the daughter who came home for her father, the mother I am today, and the woman who never stopped loving fashion.
Ashley Hordge is my way of coming back to
where I started—and bringing you along with me.
Considered for real life.
